Individual and Couples Therapy
People seek therapy for many different reasons. Some feel stuck in painful patterns in their relationships, while others struggle with anxiety, grief, questions of identity, or a sense of being overwhelmed by life. Therapy can provide a space to slow down, reflect on these exeperiences, and begin moving towards greater clarity and change.
Sessions are conducted through secure online telehealth for individuals and couples in New York and New Jersey
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy provides a space to explore personal struggles such as anxiety, depression, grief, questions of identity, or recurring patterns in relationships. Together we work to better understand the experiences and emotional patterns that shape a person’s inner life.
Many people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure why certain struggles continue to repeat. Therapy can provide the space to slow down, reflect on these experiences with honesty and curiosity, and begin developing a deeper understanding of oneself.
Couples Therapy
Couples often come to therapy when they feel caught in cycles of conflict, distance, or misunderstanding. In our work together we slow down these patterns and explore what is happening beneath the surface, helping partners communicate more honestly and develop deeper understanding.
Many couples come to therapy after finding themselves stuck in the same arguments or patterns again and again. Conversations that once felt easy may now lead to frustration, distance or silence.
I also have training in Prepare/Enrich, a framework commonly used in premarital counseling to help couples better understand their relationship patterns and strengths.
